Recently, many companies have been waiting for permission from the Security Board of Nepal (SEBON) to issue IPOs. According to the board, 18 companies have so far applied for an IPO worth Rs 5.71 billion. These companies are about to bring a total of 57.15 million units IPO to issue.

Out of 18 companies, 13 are hydropower companies, two are microfinance, two are insurance and one is from other sectors. This list includes most of the hydropower companies. Sahas Urja has waiting for permission to issue the largest IPO worth Rs 1.5 billion.
Similarly, Malung Khola Hydropower is waiting for permission to issue 736,000 units IPO. Himalayan Hydropower, Bindhyabasini Hydropower, Green Ventures Ltd, Samling Power Company, Buddha Bhumi Nepal Hydro Power, Dordi Khola Hydropower, Sayapatri Hydropower, Balephi Hydropower, Himalayan Hydropower, Upper Solu Hydropower, Nyadi hydropower also waiting for permission to issue IPO.
similarly, Here are some Upcoming IPO of insurance company, Union Life Insurance, Sanima Life Insurance are also waiting for approval from the Security board of Nepal (SEBON). Manushi Laghubitta, Manakamana Smart Laghubitta, and Dish Media Network also waiting for approval to issue a large number of IPO to the general public.
All these 18 companies will issue IPO at Rs 100 per share. With the lockdown loosening, companies began to bring in IPOs again. For example, Jeevan Vikas Laghubitta is going to issue an IPO from Asadh 11 (असार ११). Similarly, other IPOs are also being issued.
