An IPO of Ruru Hydropower (RJPL) is coming up. The company is preparing to issue an IPO with a premium price. For the IPO, Ruru Hydropower has received a grade 3 rating from ICRA Nepal, which indicates that the company’s financial condition is average.

The 14th annual general meeting had passed a resolution to issue IPO with premium to the public. Accordingly, an IPO with an additional premium of Rs 20 on the face value is about to be issued. The company has reached out to the Securities and Exchange Board seeking permission to issue an IPO.

An application was submitted to the board on Asar 25 to issue 8 lakh 15 thousand 410 shares for locals and the general public. Out of that, the project will issue 10 percent of the issued capital 4,07,705 shares for the affected locals and 4,07,705 shares for the general public. The public can apply IPO for a minimum of 10 kitta and maximum units of as much as the company allows.
The company has sought permission from the board to issue an IPO at Rs 100 per share for locals and Rs 120 per share for the general public. NMB Capital will act as the issue and sale manager for Ruru Hydropower.
