How to check a Mobile is Registered in Telecom Authority MDMS

From now on, mobile phones brought illegally from abroad and not registered in Nepal will not work. Nepal Telecommunication Authority has implemented Mobile Device Management System (MDMS) from 2079 Bhadra 31st.

MDMS system has been implemented from Thursday to prevent illegal mobile phones from operating within Nepal. It is illegal to buy and sell mobile phones that are not registered with the authority.

From now, before buying a mobile phone, you should check whether the mobile phone is registered with the NTA authority or not. Mobile phones that are not registered in MDMS will not work in Nepal.

What is the MDMS system?

MDMS system is an advanced technology to control unauthorized mobile phones. MDMS is a system used to restrict the entry of illegal mobile phones into Nepal and to legalize the unauthorized use of mobile phones and SIMs by common people.

All mobiles brought from abroad before 30 Bhadra 2079 and currently in operation have been automatically registered in the MDMS system.
