C-ASBA Charge of All Commercial Banks in Nepal – 2022

If you are an investor, you probably know that banks charge CASBA fees when you apply for an IPO. Some banks have a free CASBA fee while most of the banks in Nepal charges Rs.10 – Rs.100. In every IPO, banks are charging CASBA fees and making a huge amount in revenue.

Out of 27 Commercial Bank, 5 banks have free ASBA charge while the remaining 22 banks are charging Rs10- Rs.100. Nabil Bank, NIC Asia Bank, Rastriya Banijya Bank, Global IME Bank and Mega Bank are providing CASBA for free. The remaining other commercial banks take CASBA charge.

CASBA charge in Nepal

Recently, the number of new IPO investors has increased exponentially. But most investors are worried about the CASBA fee. The investor has to pay a CASBA charge every time he applies for IPO but does not get IPO. Because of this, every investor has to lose a lot of money.

For example, more than 26 lakh investors applied for the IPO of Jalpa Samudayik Laghubitta. Due to this, the banks have earned Rs. 2.6 Crore as CASBA fee.
